My tea making process

Where would you suggest buying puerh from, or where do you get your's?

I tend to make tea this way. Boil water in a kettle let it cool a did off the boil, add tea to a measuring cup, steep, then pour through a small strainer that sits over my cup I'll drink from.

I'm drinking coffee this morning though. :skew:

I get my tea when traveling in China. I travel for work so bringing tea back is a nice benefit since its cheap there.

Unfortunately I have no clue where to buy domestically

Not a huge tea drinker myself. I am a coffee junkie, I roast my own and go through at least a pot a day myself. I was recently introduced to "good" tea through a friend who knows Joseph Wesley who owns http://josephwesleytea.com/. His blend number 05 is by far my favorite but I know next to nothing about tea other than I go through a metric assload of sweet tea when it is hot out. For a while I would use my french press to make my tea in until purchasing a stainless steel tea ball recently which works but now I want one of those kettles!

The French press is an excellent option if I want more than a couple of cups.

The only reason I don't use it more often is because once the tea is made, the water is still sitting on the tea leaves.

I also roast my own beans for coffee. I really enjoy coffee, too.

My wife (and a few others) often ask why I get loose leaf tea instead of tea bags. The stuff they throw in the tea bags is the stuff that's left over, full of dust, etc. And then you're left with a gritty feel in your mouth. Or, at least, I often have that feeling.

I definitely like loose leaf better. Also don't like the concerns with tea bag materials and how they breakdown. No definitive science but doesn't sound like it's heading the right way
