I've had my share of Opus, even some of the fancier ones. Some were okay, some I MU'd (although he doesn't always MU opus,) some were fantastic and one was just exceptional. Fuente is not my style regularly but I have a box or two that I grab from when I feel like it. (But I bought at MSRP and don't think most are worth paying above MSRP.) Now, if you're talking Casa Fuente, that's a totally different story because I love that cigar.

I've been told that 4-5 years of age is when you should start smoking them. I personally don't find the consistency in them that I have found in MF stuff or old Liga.

My own experience is similar to others' I've heard. When I got hold of one I blazed it. It was meh. I was like really? I smoked one that was 2 years old and talked to 6'7" baby Jesus all the way thru it. They are definitely better over/after time. Now I typically smoke them on new year and my bday and they just sit and get better

I have some that have been aging for approx 6 years now and they are amazing! I have a humidor separate of them that I age in, and do not share these with anyone. Those that don't like them can send them all to me!

uh huh....not gonna sell you on them as I've done this too many times and so many people order them which leaves less for me. The Opus is just a brand that smokes like most cigars...nothing to see here or experience...they are no better than a Thompsons blend cigar....move along.
