For me it is my tris that I just can't seem to hit. I'm kinda limited in how heavy I can go because with dumbells only, I'm limited to push/press movements instead of pulling. Anything over 40lbs/arm absolutely KILLS my tendons.Tried for chest and triceps.
I really just don't feel my chest lately. I've been working the angles and trying different things. I just end up feeling more shoulder and back by the time it is over. On the upside my back and shoulders are coming along nicely with the extra work.
Stand the dumbbell up and then set up like you're going to do a good morning or a back row. Then do tricep kickbacks while hold the top of the weight. It sounds crazy, but it really worked for me. I've started doing it with the kettlebell and it is a little easier. For me it is my tris that I just can't seem to hit. My delts have blown up for reasons unknown, most likely due to shifting my trap exercises around and indirectly hitting them.
Thanks! I think I can go down as low as 15 on the adjustable dumbbells if need be. Gonna try that.Stand the dumbbell up and then set up like you're going to do a good morning or a back row. Being it in for like a half curl and then kick it out focusing on your hand and flexing the muscle. Try it pretty light at first because it can stress the wrist and shoulder.
With 2 bands to assist. No way I could have done 5 let alone 30 in the condition I'm in. Also Kipping...again no way in hell I could do normal pull-ups without kipping.5 pullups
