Working on form with the "sport style" kettlebell overhead press. I'm honing in a modified version that gives a bit of work to the pec on the press and lat on retraction.

4 or 5 sets of 10 total. I lowered the weight and just hit a set about every 45 minutes or hours.

Getting in a quick walk right before or right after breakfast seems to help me wake up a little faster and helps me snack less in the morning.

I'm thinking about chest and arms later. I'm a bit stiff and sore from the abundance of pressing yesterday. In the end I had six sets of presses, four sets of bent over rows, and three 18 rep sets of kettlebell hammer curls.

Tried for chest and triceps.

I really just don't feel my chest lately. I've been working the angles and trying different things. I just end up feeling more shoulder and back by the time it is over. On the upside my back and shoulders are coming along nicely with the extra work.

Pre-fatigued my back with heavy cable work today, that made the last 2 heavy exercises quite a bit tougher than usual.

Wide pulldowns x 5 sets (1 drop set)
Cable rows x 5 sets (1 drop set)
Pullups x 4 sets
Bent over barbell rows x 5 sets (1 drop set)
T-bar rows x 5 sets (1 drop set)

For me it is my tris that I just can't seem to hit. I'm kinda limited in how heavy I can go because with dumbells only, I'm limited to push/press movements instead of pulling. Anything over 40lbs/arm absolutely KILLS my tendons.

My delts have blown up for reasons unknown, most likely due to shifting my trap exercises around and indirectly hitting them.

Stand the dumbbell up and then set up like you're going to do a good morning or a back row. Then do tricep kickbacks while hold the top of the weight. It sounds crazy, but it really worked for me. I've started doing it with the kettlebell and it is a little easier.

Being it in for like a half curl and then kick it out focusing on your hand and flexing the muscle. Try it pretty light at first because it can stress the wrist and shoulder.

Thanks! I think I can go down as low as 15 on the adjustable dumbbells if need be. Gonna try that.

I couldn't resist.

I had this idea for using a resistance tube with a low anchor. Turn your back to the anchor and then lean forward. Do reverse curls and near the top do a chest press. I feel like it could work out okay if you took time to find exactly the right angle. Probably not a big enough pay off for the time spent getting it correct.

Anyway, 4 sets of 12 reps.

Same angle but behind the back shrugs.

4 sets of 12

30 minute walk/2.5 miles this morning
20 minute amrap at crossfit this afternoon. I somehow managed to pull off 6 reps of 5 pullups, 10 pushups, 15 air squats.
yada yada yada....I can't walk.

Edit:
5 pullups
With 2 bands to assist. No way I could have done 5 let alone 30 in the condition I'm in. Also Kipping...again no way in hell I could do normal pull-ups without kipping.
I got a long road ahead.
