Have to say I've tried a few others and the beans from SM just seem to be better quality.
If you like a nutty mild bean then try the Nicaragua Acopio Suyatal. I roasted some last night and it's great for all day drinking.
I am trying to find one that would brew nice in the stovetop espresso machine

Here we go again... Damn enablers....Just getting into different brews lately and now I run across this :) ... Haven't ventured into roasting my own yet but you know how that goes? Prob a dumb question but is it a lot better brew when you roast your own vs buying already roasted? I'm gonna have to read up on this now. Just another thing on the list to try because of y'all..

Just get a cheap pop corn popper and roast your own. I feel a lot more pride drinking coffee I roasted myself and it tastes better to me :)

Well it's fresher than any other form and you have total control over the roast. The main reason I like it is price. I find most of the beans I roast are in the 4.50-6.00lb and if I buy that same stuff roasted it's 12-15.00. Take a look at https://www.sweetmarias.com for all kinds of info on getting started.

Just got these delivered. They look and smell pretty decent, I will find out the actual quality in the next day or two after I get a chance to roast and brew them

On my second Americano using the Brazilian beans I roasted last night. After a day or two more rest they will be better, but I am VERY happy with these. I will be ordering a 5lb bag of these very soon. Lots of chocolate, definitely some caramel/toffee with a slight lemon peel acidity. Very smooth, not very bitter at all.
