@sanity hooked me up with some Singing Rooster from Haiti. It stood no chance it was so good.
My wife brought back some Cafe Britt from Costa Rica, tasty!
Right now my day to day is Dunkin Donuts original whole bean or Caribou. Both economical and good, in my opinion!

Gevalia on a day to day basis, it's reasonably priced and not awful. Though when money allows I order various blends from millcoffee.com . I used to live in that area and their coffee is top notch. They import the beans from around the world and roast them in house, great stuff.

Question. I'm looking for something for Xmas for my mom. She loves coffee but hasn't stepped into the REAL coffee world. Can someone recommend a blend and place to buy from? Needs to be at least roasted;)

The best coffee is fresh coffee imo. Try to find a local roaster and look for a light roast for a milder tasting coffee.

Looks like a bounty of local roasters in your area, get Mom a grinder and a gift cert .......

and you are near Charlotte...........Lots of places............

Start with central and South American coffees,Guatemala and Costa Rican may be available ....

Coffee is a seasonal item, what's available changes constantly in many shops...........
