Well my leg hasn't gotten better and have woken up the past few days unable to walk right out of bed. Takes a half hour or so of slow stepping to be able to walk. Strange for me because I've never had this. Have tightness in the back of the upper calf area and I can't lift my leg higher than about 4-5 inches when walking. Loosens up during the day a little but isn't getting better. I"m jonesing from working out!! Heading to my MD on Monday for a referral to an orthopedist. G1

Great workout today, did 30 min cardio, abs, and shoulders. Then sat in sana for 15 min and steam room for 5, shower and I felt better!

Well, I was forced to take the last few days off from working out. My blood pressure, which is normally very high, shot through the effin' roof on Thursday. I saw the nurse at our onsite clinic and I had 195/101. She nearly flipped her sh*t and tried to get me to go to the emergency room (I told her I'm used to abnormally high BP and I wasn't going to stroke out in front of her). Regardless, that's still way too high so I went to see my doctor on Friday.

She immediately put me on BP meds and told me to not do anything strenuous until I get it lowered a bit. I'm going to check it again today and as long as I'm not over 160, I'll start back at the gym and just stay on top of my meds and closely monitor my BP.

Follow up appointment is in a month...

Training for my first half marathon since '98. Still fairly early in the program, I'm only required to run 18 miles this week. Also getting back into the gym to do some ridiculous circuit training 3 days a week after taking a couple weeks off due to a nasty cold and a little bit of just plain laziness.

Also, I have the primal mud run coming up next month. http://primalmudrun.com/?races=primal-mid-atlantic-2012

FINALLY back in the gym.

My doctor hasn't let me work out for the past 3 weeks because of my blood pressure but I got it under 140/85 this weekend so I'm back to work! Felt so great but I'm ticked about how much progress I lost. Oh well...

Started week 3 of this plan.
week 3 steps it up with more plyometrics and the continued challenge of the diet.

I struggled this weekend and didnt make any progress on the weight, but in a couple days over two weeks I have lost 12 pounds of basically butter.

Im going to do some yoga tonight to stretch out and center!

Good luck to you all!

Sore as hell after yesterday but got in a pretty good back/tri workout this morning. Even with the time off I did great with my eating habits and still getting more lean every week

Got in a great leg workout Wednesday and another chest on Thursday. No gym this morning because I went to the midnight showing of Hunger Games and needed the extra sleep

How was the movie??
I didn't read the books but my fiance and friend did so I went with them. Honestly, I thought it was very teeny-bopper in nature. Also a lot of random scenes that were probably pivitol in the book but were just awkward on film.

I dunno, it's getting great reviews all over the place so maybe it's just me :sadpace:
