You should try a wheated. Something with a higher amount of wheat in the mashbill. It's the opposite of a rye basically. Rye is a tough sell for me as well, usually.
Believe makers mark is higher in wheat?? I like it bout as well as any for an anytime drink

I drank a lot of ryes when I first got into the whiskey scene. Now about the only rye that really apeals to me are the Whistlepig single barrels.

Higher proof wheaters include full proofs from Weller and 1792. Lots of higher proof Maker's expressions as well.

Cracked the 2020 MM Private Selection last night, even better than the 2021.
