It's a whole different animal. Was it that much better than the 90? I keep building it up but not sure it will meet my expectations as the 90 is so good.
Best regards, tony

your tasting notes are profound Ryan....:fencing:It's a whole different animal.
My local has cases of this. I remember it coming out next year but never got any. Think I'll spring for a bottle this year to see what its all about.
Also snagged a couple packs of Founder's Breakfast Stout and a pack of Bell's Best Brown Ale and Two-hearted ale.
Gonna be some good imbibing this weekend.
I try, Kyle.your tasting notes are profound Ryan....:fencing:
Now that's what I'm talking about! Gotta remember...still lots of us beer lovers who've yet to try the white whale that is the DFH 120!I try, Kyle.
Actually it is similar to the 90, but very different. Very sweet/syrupy, tons of piney/resin hop aroma.... swirl it in your mouth and it creates an explosion of flavor on your tongue. I almost cried when my glass was empty.
Lush! :bottle:
Johns market still had a four pack, that was almost a week ago though. Now that's what I'm talking about! Gotta remember...still lots of us beer lovers who've yet to try the white whale that is the DFH 120!
NO! Those where spirit fingers!! :rofl:Magic Fingers!

Larry-Just picked up today from Bottle Revolution....
Let me know how that Alchemist stuff tastes. I've heard nothing but good things about The Alchemist from one of the brewers I work with.Just picked up today from Bottle Revolution....
Yup... It's pretty cool what they did after the flood. Basically said screw it, we're a small operation, we could close but we're not. I've heard nothing but praise about their operation.Let me know how that Alchemist stuff tastes. I've heard nothing but good things about The Alchemist from one of the brewers I work with.
Hmmmm. That seems like a problem...Adam, It is so reverved by us "Hop Heads" here in North Carolina (and it's not distrubuted here!) that my friend Mike made a Special Holidays Trip to Vermont and came back with EIGHT (8) coolers filled with Heady-Topper!!
I will give you an honest opinion of it when I try it....one straight from the can and one in a glass.
Dude, I have tried alot of Black IPA's (love them!) and "Back in Black" has moved to the top of my list! I have not tried any Ninkasi beers....yet!
I was just talking about that beer in chat. I was a big big fan of the Two-Hearted Ale. Time to go buy some more of it.Also snagged a couple packs of Founder's Breakfast Stout and a pack of Bell's Best Brown Ale and Two-hearted ale.

All those sound very interesting! Is this a brewery only release or just very limited? :dunno:Received my FiftyFifty Eclipse today. From left to right:
Elijah Craig (12 year)
Buffalo Trace
Heaven Hill Rittenhouse Rye
Grand Cru
Elijah Craig (18 year)
Four Roses
Brandy Barrel Aged
Amazingly good barrel aged beers! If you have the chance to try one, don't pass it up!
The brewery had a pre-order at the beginning of the year. However, there were a few stores here in So. Cal that had a couple of the varieties but quantities were very limited. Most stores got a case or so and had a 1-3 bottle limit. All those sound very interesting! Is this a brewery only release or just very limited? :dunno:
