Also snagged a couple packs of Founder's Breakfast Stout and a pack of Bell's Best Brown Ale and Two-hearted ale.

Gonna be some good imbibing this weekend. ;)
My local has cases of this. I remember it coming out next year but never got any. Think I'll spring for a bottle this year to see what its all about.

Have you had it before?

your tasting notes are profound Ryan....:fencing:
I try, Kyle.

Actually it is similar to the 90, but very different. Very sweet/syrupy, tons of piney/resin hop aroma.... swirl it in your mouth and it creates an explosion of flavor on your tongue. I almost cried when my glass was empty.

Johns market still had a four pack, that was almost a week ago though.
You gotta try it, at least once.
I would put the 120 firmly in the category of: glad I tried it, but wouldn't want to, nor could I afford to, drink it regularly.

Just picked up today from Bottle Revolution....
Larry-
Glad to see some 21st Amendment in your latest haul. I been pretty high on them lately. The Allies is excellent, even though its brewed with dates (which I hate), their IPA is very good, and the "Back in Black" is one of the best "new to me" beers I've had this year.
Have you had many of the offerings from Ninkasi? They're the other half of the "Allies" confab, and make beer like Rogue used to. Probably my favorite Oregon brewery at the moment.

Let me know how that Alchemist stuff tastes. I've heard nothing but good things about The Alchemist from one of the brewers I work with.
Yup... It's pretty cool what they did after the flood. Basically said screw it, we're a small operation, we could close but we're not. I've heard nothing but praise about their operation.

Adam, It is so reverved by us "Hop Heads" here in North Carolina (and it's not distrubuted here!) that my friend Mike made a Special Holidays Trip to Vermont and came back with EIGHT (8) coolers filled with Heady-Topper!!

I will give you an honest opinion of it when I try it....one straight from the can and one in a glass.

Dude, I have tried alot of Black IPA's (love them!) and "Back in Black" has moved to the top of my list! I have not tried any Ninkasi beers....yet!
Hmmmm. That seems like a problem...
One can only wonder what the solution might be...

I was just talking about that beer in chat. I was a big big fan of the Two-Hearted Ale. Time to go buy some more of it.

All those sound very interesting! Is this a brewery only release or just very limited? :dunno:

The brewery had a pre-order at the beginning of the year. However, there were a few stores here in So. Cal that had a couple of the varieties but quantities were very limited. Most stores got a case or so and had a 1-3 bottle limit.
