BoM Sept '14 & BoY 2014
So, since I've sent out a ton of tea and have been called the tea bomber, I figured it'd time to share how I make tea everyday
My works:
Tea pot with screen for leaves
Fancy new water boiler with individual settings(*see bottom if this if you don't have this)
Tea amount, varies by person but here's a starting point.
Green tea with Jasmine from rdomfoto today
Heat up water, pour over tea
Pour this first pot out immediately. This is called cleaning the tea. Very important if you're going to drink a lot.
Refill the pot, I typically do right to the point where tea is fully submerged
Let steep(sit there) for 3-5 minutes. Pour into a cup for you and your boss and enjoy
*at home I do this same process but with a clay/ceramic tea pot that has some holes inside of stout to strain tea and a sauce pan to boil water. Results are the same
Hope this helps some folks enjoy loose tea. If you would like to add any insight feel free since I'm sure there's other methods!
